Our Orchards Guest House is convenient as we really are centrally-situated - the OR Tambo Airport is less than 30 minutes off-peak driving time away, with the Joburg CBD 15, Rosebank 10 and Sandton 20 minutes away. Just a quick stroll will take you to Norwood Mall for shopping or into Norwood's Grant Avenue which has plenty of restaurants.

Join hosts, Graham and Tony, for an early evening drink before dining out at one of the many restaurants in the area - choice of Italian, Chinese, Indian, Japanese, Middle-eastern, Kosher, Fish, etc; a little further afield you'll find many restaurants at Joburg's top meeting place - Melrose Arch, including the famous Moyo For alternatives choose from cosmopolitan Rosebank, vibey Melville that attracts a younger, trendy crowd (only 20 minutes drive away) or the pavement restaurants of popular 4th Street in Parkhurst.
Four golf courses are within a few minutes drive of Graton - Houghton, Royal Johannesburg & Kensington, Killarney and Wanderers. For a more energetic work-out Old Ed's Virgin Active Club is a few streets away with indoor & outdoor pools for those who prefer to swim for exercise.
Graton is a convenient base for St John's College and King Edward VII School, both in Upper Houghton, and minutes from Netcare's Linksfield Hospital. And if you're attending a conference and prefer to stay in a B&B our Guest House is an accommodation provider for the Glenhove Conference Centre and the Centre for Endocrinology and Diabetes, both a few minutes drive away.
